I, myself, am a retired Federal Employee. I worked for the US Postal Service from 1989 until
2014, when I took a Voluntary Early Retirement. My position was being eliminated and taking

uninformed decisions. We didn’t ask many questions because we didn’t know what to ask. The

preparing for retirement, chances are we would have done things differently. Had we done
things differently in 2009, we would have made better decisions in 2014.
